Wedding in Wales

Created by Vince one year ago

The pews in the nave of the tiny church of St Pedrog in Llanbedrog on the lovely Lleyn Penninsula were full in preparation for the wedding of one of my nephews. However, family members had reserved seats in what I think is called the Chancel, the bit near the altar with sideways facing seats where the choir normally sit.

I noticed Phil and Sue making their way up the aisle as Sue glanced from side to side to side at the packed pews. "Gosh, it's full isn't it" I heard her observe. Then noticing us in the chancel added "Oh, it's OK. Looks like we're in business class".
